That's because six weeks remain until Wild Waves opens.
And the theme park needs workers to staff the 2011 season.
So it’s time for a job fair.
“As we ramp up for the upcoming season, this is where we hire so many positions such as lifeguards, admissions, food service, ride operators and more,” said Mary Bigham, Wild Waves director of human resourses, in a release this week.
If you’d like to apply for a job – and there re hundreds of jobs available – save some time on Sunday, April 3,
The job fair will be held at the park, 36201 Enchanted Parkway S., beginning at noon and running until 4 p.m.
For details – and to complete an application – visit www.wildwaves.com and click on "jobs" tab on the top of the page.

Can a Woodchuck Really Chuck Wood?

Recently, I stumbled upon this peculiar idea. Can a woodchuck really chuck wood? I think the answer to this question is much more complicated when thought of in a more intrinsic manner. For example, what is a woodchuck actually referring. Previously, I assumed the position that the fore-mentioned woodchuck was a furry brown animal, with many similar qualities to of a chipmunk, or brown squirrel. Certainly, it was in the Sciuridae Family of mammals. After further analysis though, It came to mind that not only was is rash and illogical to assume the woodchuck as a Sciuridae species, but also quite pedantic. I realized, after watching the critically acclaimed show known as Walker Talker Ranger, that the main character is played by none other than a Chuck Norris. As saw this come across the screen during credits, I just about wizzed myself! An epiphany like lightning striking my private regions. The woodchuck is not a furry animal, but is in fact more closely related to the Chuck Norris, or Norriae family of species. Therefore, after several internet searches, I found that the renowned Chuck Norris is quite possible the most amazing Norriae that has ever lived. He appears to be a super mutant of the woodchuck family, whose abilities far exceeds that of man. It is commonly said that the Norris tears cure things such as cancer. Many more amazing feats are listed, but there are too many to count. Therefore, if it is assumed that the woodchuck in the riddle of whether or not a woodchuck can chuck wood is this Chuck Norris, one can be absolutely sure that the woodchuck can in fact chuck wood! Once this fact is established, many impossible questions of science are answered, such as what was before time, and how big is infinite, and are dogs better than cats. I am very excited to share this new discovery with you, and I pray you use its immense power for good and not evil. Sincerely, Sir Dustin.

P.S. This post should be read in a thick english accent.

Disturbing Facts

I was reading some interesting information today about marriage/pregnancy/abortion/etc. Some of the facts are pretty shocking.

"TODAY, 2800 teenage girls will get pregnant. 40% will have abortions."

Studies later in life show that 96% believed they had taken a human life. Thats some serious baggage and regret...

I'm curious as to where our society is heading. Are people going to learn to at least be safe? Or is the sex revolution just increasing and will just get out of control?

Get Your Nerd On

We went to a nerd party last night for the first time in a while. Just like the good ol' days. Call of Duty, Halo, Dr. Pepper, bald rages, trash talking, Russian accents, stealing the best of berries, blue demon agave full throttle, horrible sleeping, starcraft nerd corners, smash bros., Chick-a Boooooooom, cake, spaghetti, big league chew, mambas, m&m's, butterfingers, and paydays. I don't know what else you could ask for.

Lyrical Image

What does this image mean to you?

It amazes me as to what we can perceive from a certain moment in time. In reality though, we are doing this constantly, without much realization about the psychological functions going on. So I'm curious....with conscious thought and analysis, what does this mean to you? I challenge you to look beyond the simple environment - think about the placement of the number, the story or relationship of the subjects, the vision of the photographer, whatever. A picture is worth more than a thousand words; it is a a collaboration of ideas, memories, and the ability to explore the depth of our imagination and intellect. So please, take a moment and ponder - you might surprise yourself.
